Using the quick search box on the main toolbar, you can find any resource in Collibra, such as assets, communities, domains, users, and user groups. When you search for something using the quick search box, you are taken to the Search page, where you can refine the search results as needed.
Your search text is processed by splitting it into tokens. By default, search results on the search page are sorted in descending order of relevance. You can use faceted search to narrow the scope of the results. The facet pane shows facets (criteria) that are dynamically generated based on the resources currently in the search results.
In the latest UI, depending on your permissions, the search page includes search tabs, which allows you to search for assets of specific asset types.
