A dashboard widget is an individual pane on a dashboard. Depending on its type, it has a different purpose. For example, it can contain quick links to important or useful information, statistics in a bar chart, or a button to start a workflow.
The following table describes the widgets that are available to add to a dashboard.

| Workflow | A collection of workflow buttons by which users can start workflows. |
