Profile page

The profile page of a user contains information about that user.

You can always see all information on your own profile page. On the profile pages of other users, you see basic information such as their name and contact information. If you have a global role with the User Administration or the System Administration global permission, you can see all information for all users.

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

  • Full profile page
  • Basic profile page

The About sidebar contains important information about the user, such as the user name, language, and email address

The view bar contains important information about the user, such as the name, license type, required license type and email address. It contains buttons to edit the user's name and reset the password.

The profile page contains the following tab pages:

Tab page Description
Overview The overview page contains general information such as the user's account information, mail notification settings and contact information.
Groups The groups page contains the groups of which the user is a member and, with the right permissions, allows you to add the user to or remove the user from groups.
Global Roles The Global Roles page contains global roles assigned to the user.
Responsibilities

The responsibilities page contains the responsibilities that are assigned to the user.

Note Only 300 responsibilities are visible at one time, even if more exist in the system.

You can see a full list of both direct and inherited responsibilities for a user on the Responsibilities tab of the user Profile page, in either a tiles or table layout.

2 Tooltip A tooltip that displays the resource role description.
3 License The highest license type required by the resource permissions assigned to this role.
4 Display mode Switch between the tiles and table display mode.
5 Resource tile A tile showing the details of the resource the responsibility applies to, including the groups with that responsibility that have the user as a member.

Mentions

The mentions page contains a list of all comments in which you are mentioned.
Notification Settings The Notification Settings page contains mail notification options.
Go to Edit the email notification settings or Edit the product notification settings.
