You can update your personal information and preferences in Collibra. This topic covers how to edit your account settings, contact information, and notification preferences for both emails and product updates.

This option can also be disabled when an administrator selects the default language and local.

Note Fully translated files are available starting from the production deployment of a release. The pre-production deployment does not include complete translations. See the Release Calendar for more information.

Edit the email notification settings

The Notification Center is enabled by default in Collibra Console, so you automatically see the expanded Notification Settings page.

Note The email notification settings section relates only to the subset of email notifications that are currently part of the Notification Service. Additional notifications will be added to the Notification Service in future releases. The list of available notifications can be found in About notifications.

    Your profile page appears.
  2. Click Notification Settings.
  3. In the Email Notifications section, click the toggle or checkbox to enable or disable different types of email notifications.

Note Only the 20 most recent changes for a given asset are shown in the notification email.

  1. In each of the sections:
    1. Select or clear the checkbox to receive or not receive each type of notification.
    2. For each type of notification you enabled, use the drop-down menu to set how often you are emailed.
      1. Instantly
      2. Every 5 minutes
      3. Hourly
      4. Daily (sent at midnight UTC every day)
      5. Weekly (sent at midnight UTC on Sundays)
      6. Monthly (only for Resource updates)

Legacy notification settings

If you enable notifications on the legacy Notification Settings page, you will be notified via email on the selected schedule when changes are made to your resources. Your resources are those that are assigned to your role in Console.

Note Only the 20 most recent changes for a given asset are shown in the notification email.

Steps

  1. Click your avatar, then Profile.
    Your profile page appears.
