Search settings

In the Search section of the Collibra settings, you can configure settings related to search and Data Marketplace. The following table describes the settings.

Search setting Description
Results Fields Configure the fields and their sequence in search results for the search page.
Search Tabs

Configure the search tabs for the search page.
Data Marketplace Scope Configure the out-of-the-box scope for Data Marketplace.
Filter Facets Configure filter facets for Data Marketplace and the search tabs on the search page. You can create, show, hide, rename, and reorder facets, and also add tooltips for facets.
Relation Indexes Configure the relation indexes for Data Marketplace if the out-of-the-box relation-based filters and relation-based search don't meet your needs.
Actions and Preview
  • No Results, Main Actions, Actions Tab: Configure the actions that start workflows for Data Marketplace.
  • Preview: Show or hide the Preview button next to each search result for the Data Marketplace tab and subtabs on the search page. The button allows users to open the corresponding asset preview on the search page. If the Search tabs by audience (in preview) setting is enabled, the Preview button is also shown next to each asset-based result for the All results and other tabs.
    Tip The Preview button is shown by default. To hide it, switch off the Show previews option.
  • Data Basket: Define whether users can add certain types of assets to their data basket and request access.
  • Data Set Creation: Define whether users can add certain types of assets to a data set.
  • Data Similarity: Show or hide similar assets for tables.
Automatic Updates Define who should receive notifications about automatic updates to the Data Marketplace configuration.
Landing Page Configure the landing page for Data Marketplace.
In preview Influence the ranking of search results and customize the search page based on audience.
