You can validate assets to check if they meet specific predefined criteria. To validate assets, Collibra uses validation rules, which are assets of type Validation Rule.
Validation logging
Collibra can write extensive log messages from the execution of validation rules. These messages are written to the dgc.log file. If the execution of a validation rule fails, analyzing the log is probably the most thorough approach. For more information on how to configure validation logging, go to Logging.
Tip When contacting Collibra Support regarding a problem with validation, attach the dgc.log file to your ticket.
