About the diagram editor

• View: Name of the current view. You can select a different view from a list of pinned diagram views for the asset. To see all available diagram views for the asset, in the View drop-down list, click Show all.
• Layout: Determines the location of nodes and edges in the diagram.
• Traversal Strategy: Determines which nodes and edges are traversed and shown in the diagram.
• Depth: Controls the size of the diagram.

• Add view: To create a new diagram view, starting from the selected node.
• Add diagram view configuration: To edit the configuration of the diagram view.
• Edit name and description: To edit the name and description of the diagram view.
• Save (as) view: To save the diagram view as a new view.
• Share view: To share the diagram view.
• Delete view: To delete the diagram view.

A legend to explain color codes and symbols of the items in the diagram or picture.

For each asset type and complex relation type that is visible on the diagram or picture, the legend shows the color and symbol, followed by the name of the type. If all occurrences of a given type are boxed inside collapsed boxing nodes, that type is not visible and therefore, not shown in the legend.

Tip  Click an item in the legend to select all occurrences of that type in the diagram or picture. You can use this to expand or collapse all nodes of the same type.
