Diagram views are customizable queries that determine which nodes and edges have to be shown in a diagram for specific assets. They also determine how the nodes and edges are shown. You can create multiple diagram views for the same asset type to tailor how the data is represented for different use cases, such as focusing on specific relationships or highlighting particular attributes.

Collibra includes system-managed diagram views, which are owned by System User. These views always appear in the View drop-down list and cannot be edited, deleted, or have their permissions restricted, even by administrators.
