Customize theme

Important  This feature is available only in the latest UI.

This documentation describes how to customize the theme of your environment, including how to reset the theme customizations. Theme customizations don't apply to standalone applications, such as Data Quality, Data Notebook, and Workflow Designer, or applications in the classic UI, such as Diagrams and Technical Lineage.

  • Resetting the theme customizations reverts your changes to the default theme.

    Logo

Enables you to upload images that are shown as logos and icons.

    Important
    • The changes you make in the Logo section are instantly applied to your environment, and they are visible to everyone. In other words, you don't need to click Save Customizations. Therefore, ensure that the logos and icons you upload as images don't negatively impact user accessibility. For color contrast guidelines, go to W3C website or the WCAG color contrast checker.
    • The logos and icons you upload in the Logo section don't affect the favicon or the loading page icon.
    • The Logo section accepts only SVG files with a file size not more than 50 kilobytes.
    • If, after uploading an image a subsection, you want to undo your change, click Reset in the subsection. You don't need to click Save Customizations. The image reverts to the default logo or icon in the environment.

    Quick Color Select Tool

The Quick Color Select Tool and Components sections affect the same components. However, the Quick Color Select Tool section offers a quick way to set colors for components, whereas the Components section allows for color selection at a more granular level for the same components. For example, in the Components section, you can also select a color for subcomponents, such as the hover state for tabs or the background color for disabled switches.

Tip To undo all your changes in a subsection, click Reset in the subsection.
    Components

Enables you to select colors for components, including their states.

    Tip
    • To undo all your changes in a subsection, click Reset in the subsection.
    • The colors you select in the Components section always take precedence over the colors selected in the Quick Color Select Tool section.
  5. Select the I agree checkbox.
Tip Keep in mind that certain color combinations can negatively impact user accessibility. For color contrast guidelines, go to W3C website or the WCAG color contrast checker.
  6. Click Save Customizations.
