Edit a dashboard
You can edit the name, description, and layout of a dashboard by using the toolbar on the dashboard.
Prerequisites
- To manage your own dashboards: You have a global role that has the Manage your own Views, Dashboards, Search filters global permission.
- To manage another user's dashboards: You have a global role that has the Manage shared Views, Dashboard and Search Filter global permission.
- To use the dashboard navigation pane:
- Enable the Dashboard Ordering setting in Collibra Console.
- You have a global role that has the Manage shared Views, Dashboard and Search Filter global permission.
Edit a dashboard when the Dashboard Ordering setting is disabled
- Open the dashboard.
- Click
→ Edit Dashboard. - Enter the required information.
Field Description Name A name to identify your dashboard. Description A description for the dashboard.
Layout The number of columns to be shown in the dashboard.
Pin Select this checkbox if you want to pin the dashboard.
- Click Save.
Edit a dashboard when the Dashboard Ordering setting is enabled
- Open the dashboard.
- Click
Edit. - Enter the required information.

Layout The number of columns to be shown in the dashboard.
- Click Save.
Edit one or more dashboards from the dashboard navigation pane
- Open any dashboard.
- In the dashboard navigation pane, click
Manage Dashboards.
The Manage Dashboards page opens. - Update any of the following fields for the dashboards.
