Create a dashboard

You can create a dashboard and then add and edit widgets as needed. You can create as many dashboards as you want without affecting the performance of Collibra.

Important 

In Collibra 2024.05, we launched a new user interface (UI) for Collibra Data Intelligence Platform! You can learn more about this latest UI in the UI overview.

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

Prerequisites

You have a global role that has the Manage your own Views, Dashboards, Search filters global permission (for example, Sysadmin).

Steps

  1. Access any dashboard.
  2. Click Add Dashboard.
  3. Click MoreCreate a Dashboard.
    The Edit Dashboard page opens.
  4. Enter the required information.
    FieldDescription
    NameA name to identify your dashboard.
    Description

    A description for the dashboard.

    Layout

    The number of columns to be shown in the dashboard.

    Pin

    Select this checkbox if you want to pin the dashboard.

    Tip A dashboard bar shows up to 5 pinned dashboards in alphabetical order.

  5. Click Save.

You can also create a dashboard from your Dashboard home page. In the left pane, click the icon and create your dashboard.
