Delete a dashboard

If a dashboard is no longer useful, you can delete it. You can delete a dashboard from a dashboard. If the Dashboard Ordering setting is enabled and you have the appropriate permissions, you can delete multiple dashboards by using the dashboard navigation pane.

Prerequisites

• To manage your own dashboards: You have a global role that has the Manage your own Views, Dashboards, Search filters global permission.
• To manage another user's dashboards: You have a global role that has the Manage shared Views, Dashboard and Search Filter global permission.
• To delete a dashboard from the dashboard navigation pane: Enable the Dashboard Ordering setting.

Steps

Delete a dashboard from the dashboard

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Click → Delete.
   The Delete This Dashboard dialog box appears.
3. Click Delete.

Delete a dashboard from the dashboard navigation pane

1. Open any dashboard.
2. In the dashboard navigation pane, click Manage Dashboards.
   The Manage Dashboards page opens.
   
3. In the Actions column, click in the row of the dashboard that you want to delete.
   The Delete This Dashboard dialog box appears.
4. Click Delete.
