The Governance by design toolkit includes Lifecycle management (in preview), smart checks (in preview), and the AI-powered writing assistant agent. Before these features can be configured and used, you need to enable them.
1. Enable Lifecycle management and smart checks
You enable Lifecycle management and smart checks in Collibra Console.
Prerequisites
- You have a global role with the Product Rights > System administration global permission.
Steps
- Open Collibra Console.
- In the left pane, click the Data Governance Center node under your environment.
The service overview page opens. - Click the Configuration tab.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Scroll to section Beta features.
- Enable the following features:
- Enable smart checks
- Lifecycle management
- Click Save.
2. Enable the AI-powered writing assistant agent
You enable the writing assistant in Settings.
Prerequisites
- You have a global role with the Product Rights > System administration global permission.
Steps
- In
Settings, click Maestro. - In the Actions tab, switch on AI-powered writing assistant agent.
Note You can also enable this feature in Collibra Console, under Beta features > Text attribute AI-powered writing agent assistant, until this Console setting is retired in a future release. The two settings are synced, so you only need to switch on one.
