Manage Page Editor Text widgets

The Text widget allows you to provide your users with information. It offers a rich text editor, allowing you to format text with bold formatting, italics, headings, lists, and more.

Prerequisites

You have the required permissions to edit the product page or dashboard.

Steps

  1. Go to the page where you want to add a Text widget.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Place the widget:
    1. If this is a new widget, under Widgets, drag and drop Text to the desired row on the page.
    2. If this is an existing widget, select the existing Text widget and drag and drop it to the new position on the page.
  4. Select the Text widget you want to configure.
  5. In the right-side Pages panel, update the widget details:
    1. In Title, enter the name of the widget.
    2. In Description, enter a description of the widget.
      1. Select the Show description in a tool tip checkbox to show the description in a tooltip. This helps consolidate space on your page.
    3. In the Layout section, adjust the height of the widget:
      1. automatically adjusts the height of the widget based on the size of the content.
      2. Allows you to apply a fixed height to the widget. Enter the height in pixels in the field below.
    4. In the Editor section, add the content of your widget. You can use the editor tools to format your text.
      1. Select the paragraph style from the dropdown.
      2. Click to expand the toolbar options, such as bold, lists, and code block. Additionally, you can add hyperlinks and images.
    5. In the Settings section:
      1. In Refresh level, select how often you want the counter data to be refreshed:
        1. No refresh: The data is not refreshed, and the information remains static from the time you publish the page.
        2. 5 minutes
        3. 10 minutes
        4. 25 minutes
        5. 50 minutes
        6. 100 minutes
      2. Toggle on the Remove border and padding field to reduce the padding around the widget.
  6. Optionally, select Content copy outlined icon above the component to copy and paste the component.
  7. Optionally, select above the component to delete the component.
  8. Click Publish to publish your changes.
