You can register, profile and classify several data sources via Edge. Depending on your data source, you can use a Collibra-provided Catalog connector, or your own JDBC driver when you create a JDBC connection.
Collibra offers 2 types of JDBC offerings:
- Commercial: data sources that are associated with and governed by your Collibra Service agreement.
- Third party: data sources that are created by an independent third party developer and made available by Collibra.
