Move a domain

Important 

In Collibra 2024.05, we launched a new user interface (UI) for Collibra Platform! You can learn more about this latest UI in the UI overview.

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

You can move a domain to another community.

Note If a domain is moved to a community in another scope, the assignment of its assets may change. If moving a domain causes a conflict of scopes, the moved domain is removed from its original scope.

Steps

  1. Open a domain page.
  2. Click Actions → Move.Click → Move.
  3. Enter the required information.

    Community

    Enter the name of the new parent community.

    Domain names must be unique in the community. If you try to move this domain to a community that already contains a domain with the same name, an error message is shown after clicking Save.

  4. Click Save.
