Enabling dataset integrations

This section shows you how to integrate Data Quality & Observability Classic metadata from datasets into Collibra Platform.Once the integration is enabled, the integration job will run automatically after the Collibra DQ job runs, which pushes the Collibra DQ rules to Collibra Platform.

Prerequisites

  • You have set up an integration between Collibra DQ and Collibra Platform.
  • You have Admin privileges.

Steps

You can enable the integration of a dataset from the following pages.

  • Dataset Manager
  • Findings
  1. From the sidebar menu, click catalog icon to open Dataset Manager.
    2. The Dataset Manager page opens.
  2. In the Actions column, click Actions, then click Enable Integration.
    3. Collibra Platform ingests the assets that pertain to your dataset in Collibra DQ.

Important To enable an integration from the Findings page, React must be on.

  1. There are three ways you can access the Findings page.
    1. From the Profile page:
      1. In the metadata ribbon below the score trend graph, click on the right, and then click View Findings.
        2. The Findings page opens.
    2. From the Jobs page:
      1. Click the name of your dataset in the Dataset column.
        2. The Findings page opens.
    3. From the Dataset Manager page:
      1. Click the name of your dataset in the Dataset column.
        2. The Profile page opens.
      2. In the metadata ribbon, click Findings.
        3. The Findings page opens.
  2. In the metadata ribbon at the top of the page, click Enable Integration.
    3. Collibra Platform ingests the assets that pertain to your dataset in Collibra DQ.
    Tip If you select Enable Integration from the drop-down, you still must click the Enable Integration button to the left of the drop-down.

What's next

You may find that you do not want Collibra Platform to ingest a particular dataset, or no longer want an old dataset to continue to integrate when it runs in Collibra DQ. If this is the case, see how you can optionally disable dataset integrations.

If you receive an error when your mappings are aligned, you can optionally reset dataset integrations.
