Configure the standalone Data Marketplace landing page

In Collibra 2024.05, we launched a new user interface (UI) for Collibra Data Intelligence Platform! You can learn more about this latest UI in the UI overview.

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

As an administrator, you can optimize the landing page. You can configure the quick links (1), the links to preconfigured filters (2), whether discovery data must be available (3), and the actions (4).

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. On the main toolbar, click Products icon, and then click Cogwheel icon Settings.
    The Collibra settings page opens.
  2. To change the introduction text or add links:
    1. In the Data Marketplace section, click Landing Page.
    2. In Data Marketplace Description, add your introduction text.
    3. In Quick Links, add a Label and URL for the link you want to add.
      You can add a maximum of three links.
    4. Click Save.
  3. To show Popular Data, Recent Data Visits, and Recommended Data instead of Recent searches, Recent data visits, and What's New on the landing page:
    1. In the Search section, click Extra Options.
    2. Select the Show Data Discovery Modules checkbox.
    3. Click Save.
    Note Popular and recommended data becomes available if the Collect Application Usage Data setting in Collibra Console is enabled, which is the default state of the setting. To change this setting, you need to create a support ticket.
  4. To add preconfigured filters, go to Configure filter tabs.
  5. To add specific actions to the landing page, go to Make actions available in Data Marketplace.

    Note In the latest UI, the text in the Description field is not visible anywhere.

  3. In the Content tab, in Quick Links, add a Label and URL for the link you want to add.

  5. To add actions, click the Actions tab.
  6. Select the actions.
    Important 

    You can select only global workflows for which the option Show in global create has been selected.

  7. Click Save.
  8. To add preconfigured filters, go to Configure filter tabs.
  9. To add specific actions to the landing page, go to Make actions available in Data Marketplace.
