Synchronize ThoughtSpot
Synchronizing ThoughtSpot is the process of importing and updating metadata and technical lineage (in preview) from your ThoughtSpot tenant into Collibra Platform.
The integration automatically creates or updates metadata objects as assets in the Data Catalog and generates technical lineage based on the defined operating model.
You can synchronize manually or automate the process by adding a synchronization schedule.
Prerequisites
Ensure that the requirements are met in both the Collibra and ThoughtSpot environments.

- You have a resource role with the Configure external system resource permission, for example, Owner.
- You have a global role with the Catalog global permission, for example, Catalog Author.
- You have a global role with the View Edge connections and capabilities global permission, for example, Edge integration engineer.
