Synchronize ThoughtSpot

Synchronizing ThoughtSpot imports and updates metadata from your ThoughtSpot tenant into Collibra Platform. You can also choose to create technical lineage (in preview) during synchronization.

The integration automatically creates or updates metadata objects as assets in the Data Catalog and generates technical lineage based on the defined operating model.

You can synchronize manually or automate the process by adding a synchronization schedule.

Prerequisites

Ensure that the requirements are met in both the Collibra and ThoughtSpot environments.

When two jobs with the same name appear on the Jobs dashboard, the job that ran at 23:00 server time is the scheduled refresh job, and the other is the lineage synchronization job. Unlike the lineage synchronization job, the scheduled refresh job appears only on the Jobs dashboard and not in the Activities list.
