Add the SAP Signavio capability

You can add the SAP Signavio capability to Edge or Collibra Cloud site to enable metadata synchronization between SAP Signavio and Collibra.

Prerequisites

In your Collibra environment:

• To use the SAP Signavio integration, you need Edge 2026.03.84 or newer.
• You either created and installed an Edge site or were granted a Collibra Cloud site.
• You have created a connection to SAP Signavio in your Edge or Collibra Cloud site.
• You have a global role that has the Manage connections and capabilities global permission, for example, Edge integration engineer.

Steps

1. Open a site.
   1. On the main toolbar, click → Settings.
      The Settings page opens.
   2. In the tab pane, click Edge.
      The Sites tab opens and shows a table with an overview of your sites.
   3. In the table, click the name of the site whose status is Healthy.
      The site page opens.
2. In the Capabilities section, click Add capability.
   The Add capability page appears.
3. Select the SAP Signavio capability template.
4. Enter the required information.

   SAP Signavio Connection	The SAP Signavio connection to be used.	Yes
   Save input metadata	If you select this option, the metadata extracted from the data source will be saved in a file that can be used for troubleshooting. Select this option only on request of Collibra Support.	No
   Save process image metadata	Optionally, select this option to save process images during extraction. Process images can be useful for visualization, but extracting them can increase runtime and may raise the failure risk for large workspaces. When image extraction is enabled, you can tune the process import batch size with -DprocessBatchSize. We recommend keeping the process batch size between 100 and 250.	No
   Advanced Configuration Logging configuration Memory JVM arguments	These configuration options help when investigating issues with the capability. Important  Only complete the fields Save Input Metadata, Logging configuration, Memory (MiB), and JVM arguments on request of or together with Collibra Support. Only use Log level if your data source is a commercial JDBC offering. For more information, go to the Collibra Marketplace. JVM arguments: Optionally, add arguments for the capability JVM only when you need to override the default import batch sizes: -DprocessBatchSize: Overrides the process extraction import batch size, for example -DprocessBatchSize=250. -DdictionaryBatchSize: Overrides the dictionary extraction import batch size, for example -DdictionaryBatchSize=1000. Note We recommend that you run extraction with the default settings and change the batch size only when required. Avoid very large batch sizes, especially when Save process image metadata is enabled. This is because large batches increase memory pressure and can result in heap memory or import stability issues.	No
   Debug	This setting is not valid for this integration. It should be set to false.	No
   Log level	Only complete this field on the request of or together with Collibra Support.	No

5. Click Add.
   The capability is added to the Edge or Collibra Cloud site.
   The fields become read-only.
