When you profile data when registering a data source, Collibra Data Intelligence Platform can detect some basic data types, such as numbers and text. Besides these basic data types, you can create your own advanced data types.
Note Advanced data types are not taken into account when profiling via Edge. See About profiling and classification via Edge.
