Vertex AI is a machine learning (ML) platform that lets you train and deploy ML models and AI applications, and customize large language models (LLMs) for use in your AI-powered applications. When you integrate Vertex AI, you integrate the metadata of ML models from Vertex AI to Collibra Platform. The resulting assets represent the Vertex AI Model.

Important
- AI Governance is not a prerequisite for this integration. However, you must enable AI Governance to access the AI Governance product pages and leverage features that help you visualize and govern the ingested AI-related data.
- This feature is available only in the latest user interface.
- We only ingest the latest metrics from Vertex AI Models that have been evaluated and added to the model registry in Google Vertex AI.
- You can integrate Google Vertex AI only via Edge, not via Jobserver.
