Create a data set

You can create Data Set assets to add other assets to them later.

Prerequisites

• You have a global role with the Catalog global permission, for example, Catalog Author.
• You have a resource role with the Asset > Attribute > Add resource permission.
• You have a resource role with the Asset > Add resource permission on the New Data Sets domain (Domain ID: 00000000-0000-0000-0001-000200000001).

Steps

1. On the main toolbar, click .
   The Create dialog box appears.
2. Click the Asset tab.
3. Click Data Set.
4. In the Domain field, select the domain to which you want to add one or more data sets.
5. In the Asset name field, type the name of the data set and press Enter.
   You can create multiple data sets in one action.
6. Click Create.
