Data Set asset page

The Data Set asset page is basically the same as any asset page in Collibra Platform with the following differences:

  • The Data Set asset page has a special attribute, namely Certified. That attribute indicates whether a data set is certified or not. There are no restrictions for certifying a data set, except the ones your organization chooses. You decide when a data set can or has to be certified. For more information about how to do this, see Certify a data set.
  • It contains suggestions for related Business Assets, based on the asset recommender.
  • It contains data profile and sample data, if available.
    For Data Sets, the Sample Data tab shows only the first 100 columns of data. If you have more than 100 columns, the additional columns are not shown. This means you might not see sample data for all elements in the Data Set. The shown columns depend on their position in the data source. For example, if a Data Set contains 4 database views (View1, View2, View3, and View4), each with 40 columns, you might see only 20 columns from View3 and no sample data from View4.

You can perform the following actions on a Data Set page:
