Working with the diagram overview inset

The overview inset of the diagram editor allows you to keep an overview of the complete diagram, while the main screen is showing only a section of it.

Steps

  1. Open a diagram.
  2. On the toolbar, click the to show or hide the overview inset.
    The overview inset is shown over the diagram. You can still see the diagram underneath.
  3. Do one of the following:
    ActionDescriptions
    Zoom in or out by scaling:
    1. Move your mouse pointer over the lower right corner of the blue square, until it turns into a sleek slanted arrow.
    2. Click and hold, then drag the pointer to zoom in or out.

    Navigate in the diagram:
    1. Move your mouse pointer over the blue square. The pointer turns into a four-way arrow.
    2. Click and hold, then drag the pointer to move the square to what you want to see.
