Data Quality & Observability global roles and permissions

Anyone with a global role that has the Product Rights > Data Quality global permission has access to Data Quality & Observability. Certain Data Quality & Observability tasks, however, require specific, additional permissions.

Note To assign users or user groups to a data quality global role, you must have a global role that has the Product Rights > System administration global permission. In addition to the out-of-the-box global roles, a system administrator (Sysadmin) can add these permissions to any existing global role.

Global permissions of the Data Quality Admin global role

The out-of-the-box Data Quality Admin global role is configured with the following global permissions.

Product Rights > Data Quality Allows users access to the Data Quality & Observability product pages. Read-only Viewer
Data Quality > Manage Data Quality Dashboards Allows users to view dashboard pages and add, edit, and remove widgets. Standard Creator
Data Quality > Manage Data Sources Allows users to manage resource roles and responsibilities for Edge connections with the Data Quality Pullup Processing or Data Quality Pushdown Processing capability. Additionally, users with this permission can view data sources and the job list in the Monitoring Overview page. They can also view existing jobs, including profiling and monitoring results, on the Job Details page. Standard Creator
Data Quality > Manage Settings

Allows users to access the Settings page where they can manage Data Quality limits and dimensions.
