View the summary of an technical lineage for Databricks Unity Catalog synchronization

After you synchronize the Technical Lineage for Databricks Unity Catalog capability, you can view the summary of the results and determine whether the Databricks Unity Catalog metadata is ingested successfully.

Steps

  1. Open the Activities list. The activities list in the main menu displays the percentage of the technical lineage synchronization progress.
  2. In the row for your Technical Lineage for Databricks Unity Catalog capability, click Result.
    The Synchronization Result dialog box appears.
  3. Optional, if you selected the Save Input Metadata checkbox when the capability was created, click Download to save the extracted metadata file.
Tip 

The Job ID is useful when troubleshooting your synchronization process with Collibra Support.

What's next

If the synchronization fails or completes with errors, use Troubleshooting for technical lineage via Edge to troubleshoot and fix the issues. If the error persists, report it in the Collibra Beta Program.

When the synchronization succeeds, view the technical lineage.
