Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service that provides a choice of high-performing foundation models (FMs) from leading AI companies and a broad set of capabilities that enable you to build generative AI applications with security, privacy and responsibility in mind. With Amazon Bedrock, you can easily test, evaluate, and customize FMs to support your specific use case all through AWS services you are already familiar with.
When you integrate AWS Bedrock AI, you integrate the metadata of AI models from Amazon Bedrock to Collibra Platform. The resulting assets represent the AWS Bedrock AI model.

You can configure Edge connections and capabilities without an active AI Governance license. However, AI Governance must be enabled to harvest AI model metadata, ingest corresponding AI assets in Data Catalog, and access the dashboards and features necessary to visualize and govern your AI landscape.

- You can integrate AWS Bedrock AI only via Edge, not via Jobserver.
