View the summary of a Google Knowledge Catalog synchronization

After you have synchronized inbound or outbound (in preview) metadata, you can view a summary of the results. The summary shows the impact of the synchronization on assets in Collibra Platform, or the result of the outbound synchronization.

Steps

You can view a summary of the results from the Activities list.

  1. Open the Activities list.
  2. In the row containing the Knowledge Catalog inbound synchronization job, click Results.
    The Synchronization Results dialog box appears.
    • If anything changed, the information about the total number of resources that were added, modified, or removed as a result of the synchronization are displayed.
    • In case of errors, you can receive additional information about the error.

Tip The Job ID is useful when troubleshooting your synchronization process with Collibra Support.

You can view a summary of the results in the Activities tab in Collibra settings.

  1. On the main toolbar, click Products iconCogwheel iconSettings.
    The Settings page opens.
  2. In the tab pane, click General.
    The General tab opens.
  3. Click the Activities tab.
  4. In the row containing the Knowledge Catalog outbound synchronization job, click Results.
    The Synchronization Results dialog box appears.
    • If anything changed, the information about the total number of resources that were added, modified, or removed as a result of the synchronization are displayed.
    • In case of errors, you can receive additional information about the error.
