Configure emails and other options in Data Marketplace

Data Marketplace offers additional options to configure the Data Marketplace and platform experience.

Before you begin

• If you want to use standalone Data Marketplace, Data Marketplace is enabled.
• The Settings landing page is enabled.

Requirements and permissions

You are an administrator in Data Marketplace.

Steps

1. On the main toolbar, click → Settings.
   The Settings page opens.
2. In the Search section, click Actions and Preview.
3. To show similar data in Table asset previews, go to Enable and calculate data similarity.
4. To show the Add to Data Set button on Column, Table, View, and Schema asset pages and asset previews:
   1. Click the Data Set Creation tab.
   2. Select the Show 'Add to Data Set' checkbox.

5. To show the Add to Data Basket button on asset pages and asset previews:
   1. Click the Shopping Basket tab.
   2. Select the Show Basket checkbox.
   3. Define the required asset types.
      For more information, go to Enable and configure the data basket.
      

   By default, the action is available from the Actions menu on an asset page. To make sure the action is visible as a button, pin the action.

6. To define who must receive notifications about the automatic updates to the Data Marketplace configuration, in the Automatic Updates section, select the user group who needs to receive the notification.
7. Click Save.
