Remove columns from a table

A table shows a default set of columns. You can, however, remove columns from the table.

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

Steps

  1. Open a view in table display mode.
  2. On the content toolbar, click Edit Fields.
    The Fields dialog box appears.
  3. Click .
    The Edit Fields dialog box appears.
  4. Click next to the columns you want to remove from the table.
    Tip  If you want to remove several columns:
    1. Click Select Fields.
      The Select Fields dialog box appears.
    2. Clear the checkbox next to the columns you want to remove from the table.
      You can use the Search field to quickly find a column.
    3. Click Update.
      The Fields dialog box appears.

      The Edit Fields dialog box appears.
  5. Optional: Change the display name and order of the columns.
  6. Click Save.
