Build search and relations indexes

As an administrator, you can manually rebuild the search index and the relations index from the General section in Search settings.

Prerequisites

You have a global role with the Product Rights > System administration global permission.

Steps

  1. On the main toolbar, click Products icon → Cogwheel icon Settings.
    The Settings page opens.
  2. Click the Search tab.
    The General page opens.
  3. To rebuild the search index, click Rebuild search index.
    The search index collects and stores data to support fast and accurate searches. Manually rebuilding is only required after a fresh installation or upgrade.
  4. To rebuild the relations index, click Rebuild relations index.
    The relations index stores the relation paths used for relation-based search and filter facets.
