Additional settings

The Additional settings page allows you to manage the Request responsibility feature:

Option	Description
On / off switch	When enabled, users can request responsibilities for domains or assets from the Responsibilities page of the resources. The requests are sent to the first users that have the specified roles in the approval hierarchy.
Approver	Users that have this resource role for the domain or asset that is the subject of the request are the primary approvers of requests. If no user has this role, the request goes to the next level. Default: Community Manager
Backup approver	You can define up to four resource roles as backup approvers. If no user has this role, the request goes to the next level.
Global backup approver	Users that have this global role receive the requests if there are no approvers or backup approvers. Default: Sysadmin

Note If you enable the Request responsibility feature but no users qualify as approvers, the Request Responsibility button is available on domain and asset Responsibilities pages but is disabled.
