Agent Configuration

Agent Configuration displays the setup and environment details of each DQ agent, both active and inactive, in Collibra DQ, allowing administrators to:

  • Edit or delete agents.
  • Map connections to an agent.
  • View agent IDs, agent names, agent display names, agent status, open jobs, and connections mapped to an agent.

The following table provides descriptions of the columns present on the Agent Configuration page.

Column Description
Agent ID

The numerical identifier of an agent. For example, 6.

This field auto-generates at the time of creation and cannot be edited.

Agent Name

The unique name of an agent.

This field auto-generates at the time of creation and cannot be edited.

Agent Display Name

The descriptive name of an agent that displays anywhere agent information is present in the DQ Web App. You can customize the Agent Display Name to make it easier to identify it.

Tip There are no character restrictions for the Agent Display Name field, but it is best practice to use only alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores.

Agent Status

Shows whether an agent is online and ready to use, or offline and unavailable for use.

Open Jobs

Shows the number of jobs that have been submitted or are running but have not yet completed. When there are open jobs, you can click the number to view the details on the Open DQ Jobs modal. These details include:

Connections

The connections that are mapped to an agent. When a connection appears in this column, Pullup jobs created on data within it can use the agent job submission and processing.

Click the Edit icon to edit the connection mapping.
