Delete a dashboard

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

If a dashboard is no longer useful, you can delete it. You can delete a dashboard from a dashboard or from the dashboard navigation panel if the Dashboard Ordering (beta) setting is enabled.

Prerequisites

  • To manage your own dashboards: You have a global role with the Manage Your Own Views, Dashboards, Search Filters global permission.
  • To manage another user's dashboards: You have a global role with the Manage Shared Views, Dashboards, Search Filters global permission.
  • To delete a dashboard from the dashboard navigation panel: Enable the Dashboard Ordering (beta) setting.

Steps

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Click → Delete.
  • Delete a dashboard from the dashboard:
    1. Open the dashboard.
    2. Click → Delete.
  • Delete a dashboard from the dashboard navigation panel:
    1. Open any dashboard.
    2. In the dashboard navigation panel, click .
      The Manage All Dashboards dialog box opens.
    3. In the Actions column, click in the row of the dashboard that you want to delete.
    4. Click Close.
