Create a list of stop words

Important The Stop words setting in Collibra Console is being retired. To modify or remove existing configurations, contact Collibra Support.

You can create your own list of stop words, which tells the search engine which words to ignore in your search text. If you choose not to create your own list, the default list of stop words is applied.

Prerequisites

You have the ADMIN or SUPER role in Collibra Console.

Steps

  1. Open the DGC service settings for editing:
    1. Open Collibra Console.
      Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page.
    2. In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
    3. In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
    4. Click Configuration.
    5. Click Edit configuration.
  2. In the Search index configuration section, in the Stop words field, enter the first stop word, for example, a.
    Another field appears for you to enter the next stop word.
  3. Enter all of your stop words.
    Warning Ensure that each stop word field contains only one word.
  4. Click Save all.
  5. Reindex Collibra Platform.
