It shifts organizations from manual, spreadsheet-based audits to Management by Exception, where the system continuously monitors the data ecosystem and only flags assets that deviate from defined policies.

Integration with other Collibra products

Licensing and access
Control Tower is a feature within the core Collibra platform and is not a separately priced module. Consumption is based on Collibra Units (CUs), driven by the frequency of control executions and the number of scoped assets being monitored.
Licensing requirements:
- Viewer / Read only license: Required to view dashboards and control statuses.
- Creator license: Required for users assigned the Control Manager resource role to design, activate, and run controls.
