View the summary of a Sigma synchronization
After you synchronized the Sigma metadata, you can view the summary of results to understand the impact of the synchronization job on your Collibra environment.
This summary provides detailed information about how many Sigma assets were added, updated, or removed and whether any errors occurred during the process.
Steps
- Open the Activities list.
- In the row containing the Sigma synchronization job, click Result.
The Synchronization Results dialog box appears. - Optional, if you selected the Save Input Metadata checkbox when the capability was created, click Download to save the extracted metadata file.
What you'll see
The synchronization results provide the following information:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Summary Statistics | Shows the total number of Sigma resources processed during synchronization, categorized as Added, Modified, or Removed. |
| Status | Indicates whether the synchronization completed successfully or encountered warnings or errors. |
| Execution Time | Shows the duration of the synchronization process, including start and completion timestamps. |
| Domain | Identifies the domain in which the Sigma assets were created or updated. |
| Capability Details | Shows which Sigma capability was used. |
| Error Details | If issues occurred, provides error messages and stack traces for debugging. |
| Save Input Metadata | Indicates whether you want to save the input metadata extracted from the data source in a file. The file can be useful for troubleshooting. Select this option only on request of Collibra Support. |
Note
- The Job ID is useful when troubleshooting your synchronization process with Collibra Support.
- If an error occurs during synchronization (for example, missing workspace permissions or expired tokens), those entries are highlighted in red for quick identification.
