Collibra Maestro is a suite of AI-powered capabilities that bring trusted context to every asset, so users, AI models, and agents can work with governed data faster.
Collibra Maestro includes the following:
- Maestro Studio
- An application where you build and manage Maestro agents. Maestro agents are configurable AI assistants that perform tasks in Collibra through a conversational interface. In Maestro Studio, you can:
- Build custom Maestro agents.
- Manage custom and Collibra-managed agents.
- Review analytics on how your agents are used in Collibra.
- Maestro Assistant
- The conversational interface that surfaces Maestro agents to data consumers.
Admins use Maestro Studio to create custom Maestro agents. Data consumers then talk to those agents, along with the Collibra-managed agents that are available by default, in Maestro Assistant.
Collibra Maestro settings
Administrators configure Collibra Maestro in Settings → Maestro. This page has the following tabs:
- Actions
- Maestro actions are pre-configured, AI-powered utilities that are built natively into Collibra, such as Maestro Studio and Maestro Assistant, the AI-powered writing assistant, and semantic mapping. On this tab, you turn actions on or off.
- Assistant
- Activate and configure the Collibra-managed agents that are available in Maestro Assistant.
- Models (in preview)
- Choose which AI model powers each of Collibra's AI features, and connect your own model provider with Bring Your Own Model.
Note Maestro Actions are not the same as the action tools that you can add to a custom Maestro agent. Maestro Actions are features that administrators turn on or off. Action tools extend what a specific agent can do, such as creating assets.
