To use the unified SAP Datasphere Catalog integrations described below, you need:
- Collibra Platform 2025.02 or newer.
- Edge 2025.02.7 or newer.
- To also ingest SAP Data Products, you need Edge 2026.3.98 or newer.
The SAP Datasphere Catalog integration uses a single Edge connection and capability to unify the following integrations in Collibra.

Its main function is to achieve data visualization in the cloud, through the creation of data reports. |
| SAP Business Glossary (part of the SAP Datasphere metadata integration) | SAP Business Glossary provides a central and shared repository for defining terms and describing how and where they are used in the business. |
| SAP Data Products | SAP Datasphere Marketplace Data Products are curated datasets published by SAP data providers. Collibra can ingest these products and automatically create SAP Data Product, Data Product Port, and Data Contract assets, along with their relationships to the originating SAP Datasphere Space. Ingesting SAP Data Products requires a dedicated technical user OAuth client and activation keys from each SAP Data Provider. |
Note You can also register individual SAP HANA databases via the SAP HANA JDBC driver. If you register an SAP HANA database via the SAP HANA JDBC driver, you can profile and classify the data, request sample data, run data quality jobs, and create technical lineage via Edge.
