Add or remove the Add to Data Set button

Important This feature affects only the latest user interface (UI).

By default, the Add to Data Set action is available in Schema, Table, and Column asset pages, and in the Data Sources and Data Dictionary page in Data Catalog. You can remove this action via a setting in the Data Marketplace section.

Requirements and permissions

The Settings landing page is enabled.

You have the Sysadmin global role.

Steps

  1. On the main toolbar, click Products icon, and then click Cogwheel icon Settings.
    The Collibra settings page opens.
  2. In the Search section, click Actions and Preview.
  3. Click the Data Set Creation tab.
  4. To remove the Add to Data Set action, deselect the Show 'Add to Data Set' checkbox in the Data Set Creation section.
    To make sure the action is available, select the Show 'Add to Data Set' checkbox.
    Note 
    This change only impacts the latest UI. In the classic UI, CSS override could be used.
  5. Click Save.
    Depending on your selection, the Add to Data Set action will or won't be available in Schema, Table, and Column asset pages, and in the Data Sources and Data Dictionary page in Data Catalog.

    If the button is visible and the user clicks the button, the asset is added to the data set. For more information, go to Add data to a data set from an asset page or Add data to a data set from the Data Sources or Data Dictionary page.
