Layout editor

Important This feature is available only in the latest user interface.

With the Tailored asset pages feature, you can customize the sections and content on your asset page via the layout editor. The layout editor contains many different sections.

Number	Section	Description
	Side panel	From the side panel, you can browse or search for available content to add to the layout. Drag and drop sections, attributes, relations, and complex relations into the layout.
	Define Key Role	Use the drop-down menu to select the role to display in the At a Glance sidebar of the asset page. Note Key roles can be removed from your layout. If no roles are selected, no roles will appear in the At a Glance sidebar.
	Search	You can search for a specific attribute, relation, or complex relation to add to your layout.
	Structure	Drag the New Section box onto the layout to create a new section where you will organize attributes, relations, and complex relations.
	Show/Hide Used Items	Use this option to show or hide items that have already been added to your layout.
	Attributes, Relations, and Complex Relations	After adding attributes, relations, and complex relations to your asset type, drag and drop them into your layout from here.
	Auto-saving	The layout auto-saves each time you make a change in the editor.
	Preview/Publish buttons	Use these buttons to preview your layout. If satisfied with your layout, publish it for others to see.
	Menu	The options in this menu include deleting your draft or restoring a previous draft.
	Close editor	Click the X to close the editor without saving the changes you may have made.
	Layout	Within the layout you can move items (drag), expand/ collapse (full-width or half-width), remove items, name sections, move sections, delete sections, collapse sections, and add items to sections (drag). Note The collapsed state will not be saved and it will also have no effect on asset pages as the users experience it. This feature is intended to make the page easier to navigate as you edit.
	Delete a section	Click the to delete a full section of content. Note Some sections and content are not editable. These sections are the system content and sections.
	Delete a characteristic	Click the X on the right side of an attribute, relation, or complex relation box to remove it from the section.
