Working with the picture overview inset

The overview inset of the picture editor allows you to keep an overview of the complete picture, while the main screen is showing only a section of it.

Steps

  1. Open a picture.
  2. On the toolbar, click the to show or hide the overview inset.
    The overview inset is shown over the picture. You can still see the picture underneath.
  3. Do one of the following:
    ActionDescriptions
    Zoom in or out by scaling:
    1. Move your mouse pointer over the lower right corner of the blue square, until it turns into a sleek slanted arrow.
    2. Click and hold, then drag the pointer to zoom in or out.

    Navigate in the picture:
    1. Move your mouse pointer over the blue square. The pointer turns into a four-way arrow.
    2. Click and hold, then drag the pointer to move the square to what you want to see.
