Copy an assessment and apply it to a different AI use case
After you've conducted an assessment of an AI use case, you can copy the assessment and responses to a different AI use case. You can then edit the responses as necessary.
- If a newer version of the assessment template exists, the newer template is used.
- The user who copies the assessment is the owner of the new assessment.
- The Assignees for the assessment that is being copied are not copied over as Assignees for the new assessment.
There are two places from which to copy an assessment. Both options are addressed in this topic.
- Via the Progress Tracker on the asset page of the asset for which you want to copy an assessment.
- Via the assessment that you want to copy and apply to a different asset.
Requirements and permissions
You have the following permissions to work with assessments:
- A global role with the Product Rights > Assessments global permission. The out-of-the-box AI Business User global role has this permission.
- A global role with the Assessments > Conduct assessments global permission. The out-of-the-box AI Business User global role has this permission.
How do you want to copy the assessment?
- Via the Progress Tracker
- Via an assessment
- Open the relevant AI Use Case asset page.
- In the Progress Tracker, click + Add Activity.
The Add activity dialog box appears.Note If you don't see the + Add Activity button, it means you don't have the Assessments > Conduct assessments global permission. This permission comes with the AI Business User global role. - Select Copy Assessment from AI Use Case, and then click Add.
- In the Copy Assessment from AI Use Case drop-down list, select the AI use case from which you want to copy an assessment.
- In the Assessment drop-down list, select the assessment that you want to copy.
- Only assessments that have the status Submitted or Completed are available for selection.
- If multiple assessments of a specific type have been conducted, only the most recently submitted or completed assessment is available for selection.
- Click Add.
The specified assessment is added in the Progress Tracker.
- Open Assessments.
- Open the assessment that you want to copy.
- Click More, and then select Copy for another AI Use Case.
The Copy for another AI Use Case dialog box appears. - In the AI Use Case drop-down list, select the AI use case to which you want to copy the assessment.
- Click Copy.
The assessment is added in the Progress Tracker of the specified AI Use Case asset.
