AI Governance asset types
When referring to the AI Governance asset types, we are specifically referring to the following asset types:
- AI Agent
- AI Project
- AI Use Case
- Deployed AI Model
- Foundational AI Model
Like all asset types, the AI Governance asset types have default configurations that dictate the various elements and aspects of assets of these types. You can edit the attribute types, relation types, and statuses; and create scoped assignments for the various teams in your organization who work with these assets.
The following table also identifies which of these asset types are eligible for the Lifecycle management feature. For those asset types, you can:
- Configure an asset status progression that represents the lifecycle stages through which assets evolve.
- Configure which assessments are automatically added to the Lifecycle tracker when you register a new asset.
- Configure which sign-off activities are automatically added to the Lifecycle tracker when you register a new asset.
For guidance on enabling or disabling Lifecycle management for an asset type, go to Lifecycle management.
