SAP Datasphere is SAP's business warehouse. The SAP Datasphere integration via Edge allows you to integrate the metadata of SAP Datasphere data sources into Collibra. The resulting assets represent the SAP Datasphere models, tables, views, and columns.
Important
In Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, you can also register individual SAP HANA databases via the SAP HANA JDBC driver, or integrate all SAP Analytics Cloud BI metadata via the SAP Analytics Cloud integration.
- If you register an SAP HANA database via the SAP HANA JDBC driver, you are able to profile and classify the data, get sample data, and create the technical lineage via Edge.
- If you integrate SAP Analytics Cloud, you register the BI metadata.
