Move a domain

You can move a domain to another community.

Note If a domain is moved to a community in another scope, the assignment of its assets may change. If moving a domain causes a conflict of scopes, the moved domain is removed from its original scope.

Steps

1. Open a domain page.
2. On the resource toolbar, click Actions → Move.
   The Move <domain name> dialog box appears.
3. Enter the required information.
   

   Field	Description
   Community	Enter the name of the new parent community. Domain names have to be unique in the community. If you try to move this domain to a community that already contains a domain with the same name, an error message will appear after clicking Save.

4. Click Save.
