Save a copy of a search filter
You can save a copy of any search filter, and then edit it to suit your needs.
Steps
- Perform a search via the Search field or Search widget.
- On the Search page, click on the search filter label, to expand the search filter drop-down list, and then select the relevant filter.
- Click
, and then select Save As. - Enter a name and description of the filter.

Select with whom you want to share the filter.
- Select Public, to share the filter with all users.
- Select Private, to share the filter with no one. This is the default setting.
- Select Share with specific global roles, groups and users, and then enter the relevant roles or groups.
- Click Save.
The new filter is added to your list of filters.
Note When you save a copy of the search filter, the sorting and search fields are part of the saved configuration, but the search text is not.
