Enable or disable hierarchies

You can enable hierarchies to display an asset table in a tree structure, or disable hierarchies to display a flat asset table.

Steps

  1. Open a view in the table display mode.
  2. On the content toolbar, click .
    The Configure Hierarchy dialog box appears.
  3. Enter the required information.
    FieldDescription
    Enable Hierarchy

    Select or clear this checkbox to enable or disable hierarchies, respectively.

     Single path
    		A hierarchy in which, for each node at a certain level, there is only one path to the nodes at the next level.
     Multipath

    A hierarchy in which all relations are traversed for any asset, at any depth.

    Define a hierarchy using relation types

    Specify the relation types that you want to use for your hierarchy.

  4. Click Apply.
