Create a scope

You can create a scope, for example, if you want to create a specific assignment for assets in a certain community.

By default, you see the enhanced Scope page. However, your Collibra environment may still have the basic Scope page enabled. Contact Collibra support for more information.

You can read this procedure for both versions:

You must select at least one community or domain. A scope without communities and domains does not have any purpose.

  4. Click Save.

What's next?

You can now edit the scope to add domains and communities to the scope. After that, you create a scoped assignment for one or more asset types.
